Titles of Why Not A Girl Telugu Short Film starts with the dedication line "For mothers who are Bearing all the mistakes done by us and giving Birth to all of us, this breif film is dedicated to them".
In The breif movie Nandu's wife is pregnant and story revolves arround the delivery of her. All the members of family are expecting son but she doubts about that and feels guilt if anything went wrong .
And in Why Not A Girl Telugu Short Film finally it happens and its a girl for them.Then from Nandu's eyes tears roll out,father sitting beside him convinces in next birth we will  blessed with son. Then a dailouge will be uttered "These tears are not for sad,happy for giving Birth to my mother, even the god you are praising, is a son for her mother.   
The background song hummed in the climax of breif video is very heart touching.Dailouges were very well written with deep meaning ,which representing the domination over female gender in the society.Nandu's acting is very impressive and dailouges from him goes deep to our heart.
Before the rolling titles some images were given  showing the calculations of not accepting girl birth given by surveys.
